The assault caused the partial shutdown of the CTA tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park.

Two more people have been arrested related to a robbery at Heathrow Airport where 21 people were injured by what is thought to be pepper spray, as stated by police.

A man, 24, was taken into custody in Lambeth for suspected theft and assault and a woman, 23 was detained for suspected conspiring to commit a robbery. Both individuals remain in custody, the force said.

These detentions come after a probe into an attack at the multi-storey car park at Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Prior to the incident, two women had stolen from them their luggage upon exiting a car park lift.

A toddler aged three was among the those hurt in the event. Five people went to hospital for medical care and have since been discharged.

Police detained a man in his thirties for suspected robbery and assault near the scene. He has since been released under investigation as the investigation proceeds.

Police were called at about 8:10 in the morning GMT following reports of several people injured by an irritating chemical believed to be an irritant spray.

The assault - an event that police said was a standalone incident and not being treated as terrorism - caused delays to rail services and the partial closure of the main airport tunnel and the Terminal 3 parking facility for a short time.
